An infant may not be concerned with how they are examined, but an adolescent certainly would be. In practice, challenges like the lack of privacy during examinations can definitely hinder maintaining dignity. Additionally, when parents choose not to inform their children about their diagnosis or involve them in decision-making, it complicates how we can preserve their dignity.
