      I have not had a child to assess in my Hospice career yet, but I find that you can use some of the skills learnt here with an elderly person, or someone who is unable to communicate properly.
      E.g. facial expressions, pointing to a part of a body on a diagram, to indicate site of pain

      That is so good to hear, Cindy. I’m glad they can be useful across the ages. I was just thinking that while children are not small adults, we often become more childlike as we age! :-)
