Dignity in children palliative care is significantly different from that in adults. It is relevant to the physical, emotional, psychological and socio-cultural aspects of children palliative care. Illness related concerns that influence dignity is symptom distress, psychological distress, medical uncertainty,death anxiety and stigma. Not treating with dignity can undermine a person’s sense of value or worth and lead to the feeling that he or she has become a burden to others.
