I recently did a refresher course on my qualification as a Bereavement Facilitator in the area of Pregnancy and Infant loss. I learned a lot of new things in this area of specialization that I serve in. I have decided that I want to use the knowledge of this very wonderful Comprehensive Course on Children’s Palliative care in my planned journey to become a Fetal Anomaly Deviation Bereavement Facilitator and work alongside a Fetal Medicine Specialist where parents who has the devastating decision to make, whether they want too terminate or carry to term.I would like to support these parents with their whole journey and would like to serve in this very sacred space. I can add my qualification as a Birth Doula to support mothers who decide to carry to term and who would want to have a vaginal birth and afterwards provide the care and service to parents in their Loss, Grief and Bereavement journey. Sometimes babies who are born can live for a few minutes, hours or even a few days. This is my heart’s desire to serve in this space.
