Since I work in the Norwegian Advisory Unit for Children’s Palliative Care, we have a plan to raise awareness about Hat’s On Day, aiming to make it a day that everyone working with seriously ill children knows about.
Currently, there is limited knowledge about this day in Norway. Our goal is to give Hat’s On Day the same level of attention and recognition as the national awareness day for Down syndrome – Rock Your Socks Day.
Our plan is to make posters, stickers, and educational content.
Plan a social media campaign with hashtags, visuals, and storytelling.
Engage partners f.ex: Schools, kindergartens, influencers and organizations.
Create visibility by encourage hat-wearing and sharing across sectors.
Although we don’t have the capacity to implement the full campaign this year, we’re committed to building it up in the coming years.
