Hi,
I am a specialist paediatrician. My subspecialty is in critical care. Working in ICU, I am at times required to withdraw care on patients and would like to improve my care of these children and more especially their caregivers.
We also sometimes diagnose new chronic illnesses or we suspect that the patient may progress to chronic illness following organ failure in the ICU. We have to break this news and start the palliative care journey.
I am keen to improve how I care for these patients and families.
