In a team appreciate the roles of each member and their uniqueness. respect carries the day . sometimes clinicians ie doctors may not be in sync with the nurses and other ancillary staff. it is disjointed .
after a meeting ( ward round ) we sit with the parents and update on condition of the child. this ensures everyone is in the same understanding.
after an episode say resuscitation where successful or not we debrief and evaluate our efforts.
we try not to criticize each other in front of patients. this may affect the patients confidence in our care. the team leader doctor sits down with the concerned members.
dignity carries the day in any conflcict management so as to maintain self esteem
