      Hatson for Palliative Care is celebrated every year in the second week of October. The day aims to raise funds for Children Palliative Care, but more important to raise awareness of the rights of every sick child with incurable and life-threatening illnesses to revive Palliative Care. Awareness of Palliative Care in Children and adults are important to everyone because many people are not aware that services is available at hospitals, clinics and hospice’s. Families who is in need and support in Palliative Care have the right to know that these resources is available. Open days can be held to raise more awareness in Palliative Care,that they do not need to go alone through pain and suffering for families, all children have the right to be cared for until end-of-life. To explain why Children Palliative Care differs from adult Palliative Care. Other objects for Children Palliative Care included the explanation of life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, the different levels of Palliative Care,the continuum of care and illness trajectory, categorize childhood diseases and conditions that need Palliative Care,the goals of Palliative Care and the meaning of Children Palliative Care. Awareness that information about Children Palliative Care is available at the Academy Unit for Infection Prevention Control at Tygerberg Academic Hospital and the Stellenbosch University Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. It resides under the Decision of Community Health. Additional information include that Palliative Care is difine by the World Health Organization.
