This topic means to actively support a child sense of his/her worth thorough their illness at home or at a palliative centre. As a care giver or any health care worker we should respect their choices and providing comfort. We should also communicate with the child and family at all times and treating them with respect and dignity and also compassion during the difficult times.

I completely agree with your point. Respecting the child’s choices and providing comfort is key to supporting their sense of worth, especially during challenging times. Open communication with both the child and their family, combined with compassion and dignity, helps ensure they feel valued and cared for throughout the process. What were your thoughts about Child Rights?

As a healthcare professional, with an added skill of Children’s Palliative care, I can make a difference, regarding preservation of dignity. Treat the child with respect and dignity, the child is worth and unique, include family members as well, cos they are going through a rough patch. Support the child to participate ,in formulating care planning facilities.Bearing in mind that, even though unwell but,he or she has rights .
