A team is more than a collection of people working together.People in a team work towards a common goal.In this case that all collaborate with each other in order to discuss and make ethical decisions regarding palliative care in a child or children.Through teamwork and teamwork approaches used in the health care field we can use the multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary Learn to know each other by introducing one another.Through this approach we can deliver or providing good patient and family care services.

Collaboration can happen between two people or among small groups of people representing one or more disciplines e.g between a nurse and a doctor,a doctor and another doctor, a social worker and a nurse ect.Palliative Care provides holistic care to the patient and family.Teams need to cooperate and communicate in order to meet the goals of improved patient and service outcome.Differwnt team members bring different skills and knowledge to the tea.

      Characteristics of effective teams:
      1) Respect professional boundaries, every member of the multidisciplinary or interdisciplinary team has to execute their own tasks.
      2) Supports one another in all aspects of decision making.
      3) Has a shared objective, members learn to share and interact.
      4) The team is independent and it fails or succeeds together.
      5) Shares different decision making.

Once receiving proper training and education in children palliative care, each member will be more confident with the kids and their families.Through knowledge and skills everyone can be more confident on how to break bad news, communicate with patient and family, have patience with patient and family, coping with stress,do self-care more often and prevent burnout.Education in taking good care of your loved ones is very important eg.what to expect or the symptoms of grief
