for there to be good team work I think everyone should understand their roles and responsibilities as it will prevent conflict. having open communication is vital. having an appropriate team leader is also essential as they will assist in the planning and delegation of tasks.

in an ideal setting, an interdisplinary approach would be best to incoporate all disciplines in one seating. ideas can be shared and there is no miscommunication or duplication of work. its clear to the family, child and the team what what pln is going forward and who will be doing each activity.

palliaitve care is an emaotionally intense area of medicine. it is so easy to become fatigued. I personally like have my own space and time to reassess my day alone, process my thoughts and feelings and work through them. i do believe debriefing is important for teams as it allows everyone to give their input but it may not be effective all all team members
