We had a elective student from overseas spend some time with us a couple years ago and they initiated a toy making project. They left us with a toy-making book which uses recyclable materials to make small toys that caregivers can use in ECD eg toilet paper rolls, yoghurt/ egg cartons. We had a weekly rotation of the MDT team where caregivers and their kids would get together in the ward to make a toy. Recently the book has been mislaid so we need to procure another and restart the project.
