Welcome to the course Ethics and Decision Making in Children’s Palliative Care. We are pleased that you have chosen to sign up for this course and do hope that it will be a positive learning experience and the start of your journey to complete all the courses we offer.
The information found in this course is based on the book Palliative Care for Children: A guide for improving the quality of life of patients and their families written by the PatchSA Training Team. This book can be read online on the Bettercare Learning Station or is available to purchase as a hard copy from the PatchSA website.
Our course content is interactive and we encourage you to engage in and complete all the activities and quizzes in order to make this a rich and worthwhile learning experience.
There are five modules, each with their own topics, activities and quizzes culminating in a final quiz to assess what you have learned and understood. Should you receive a total score of 80% or more, you will receive a certificate as acknowledgement that you have completed the course. You will be given the opportunity to retake the final test should you not pass the first time.
