Bursaries for the online 9-month Comprehensive Certificate Course in Paediatric Palliative Care 2026

We are pleased to be able to offer the following full and partial bursaries for our Comprehensive 9-month Certificate Course in Children’s Palliative Care to run from 1 March – 30 November 2026. The following bursaries are available:

  • 4 Partial (75%) bursaries
  • 4 Partial (50%) bursaries
  • 4 Partial (25%) bursaries

Criteria for applying for a bursary

We have set out the following criteria for applicants.

You are eligible to apply for a bursary if:

  • You currently work with or have plans to work with children who have serious illnesses and health related suffering.
  • You are a healthcare provider (e.g. doctor, nurse, social worker, physiotherapist, speech therapist, counsellor, psychologist etc.) or work as a spiritual leader taking care of families with children needing palliative care.
  • You have ongoing access to a computer and sufficient access to the internet to complete all of the online courses and attend the webinars.
  • You are competent at reading and writing in English and have reasonably good computer literacy
  • You are willing to commit to completing all elements of the course in a consistent and timely manner between 1 March and 30 November 2026.
